Pulitzer Prize-winning historian David Hackett Fisher looks at what actually happened on the night of April 18, 1775, and examines the character and actions of Paul Revere–a far more complicated man than the myth suggests.

JEWELRY SILENT AUCTION

HANOVER

10AM-5:30PM

This silent auction will benefit the Upper Valley Haven. The Haven takes unwanted jewelry and tiny scraps of gold, silver or platinum donated by customers and sends them to our refiner who in turn sends 100% of the refined value to the Upper Valley Haven. Cumulatively, the Haven has raised almost $20,000 this way.

EXCERPTS FROM ‘STREET SCENE’

WOODSTOCK

4-5PM

A ground-breaking musical drama about immigrant life between the two World Wars. The music will be brought to life by Opera North Resident Artists Trevor Neal, Elisabeth Slaten, Christina Christensen, Tobias Wright and Emily Geller. The performance will be highlighted with projected images of immigrant life, created by Dartmouth professor Annalise Orlick. Pianist Henry Danaher will accompany the singers.
