We have all learned our behaviors at an earlier time in our lives.  When we encountered a situation that was significant to us, our subconscious minds stored that information and used it to create a habit, so that the next time we encountered a similar situation, we were equipped with an automatic response. This is a wonderful process, except that those reactions are not always the healthiest or most productive.
