LEBANON-New Hampshire’s Town Meeting prevailed despite blizzard conditions on Tuesday.
Polls were especially busy in the morning, before the heaviest of snow started, according to officials.
Lebanon City Clerk Sandi Allard said voter turnout was about average.
“I’m very surprised that we’re as far as we are with the numbers considering the weather,” she said.
All of Lebanon’s proposed zoning amendments and school articles passed.
A school budget of $42.3 million, which is down from last year’s $42.5 million, passed 855-254.
Erin Madory, Richard Milius and Adam Nemeroff were picked as school board members.
Karen Liot Hill was named councilor at large for Lebanon with 527 votes. She tallied more than Catherine Patch’s 521 votes and Michael Balog’s 61 votes.
