No one hurt in Town Hall crash
Rear end collision backs up traffic across state line
WHITE RIVER JUNCTION - A rear-end collision on Maple Street in front of Hartford's Town Hall snarled traffic around 4 p.m. Friday afternoon and drew Hartford's emergency services to the scene to clean up an anti-freeze leak but no one was injured and things returned to normal within a half an hour.
A teenage driver rear-ended a flatbed pickup truck, totaling his older model Subaru in the process, and backing traffic up clear over the Connecticut River Bridge into New Hampshire.
