Lebanon Police say Tevon Carter confessed to taking vehicle
LEBANON, NH - Police have found a GMC Yukon which had been reported stolen from a parking lot on Mechanic Street on Thursday morning abandoned where it had become stuck on a muddy trail that runs from behind the shopping plazas alongside Route 12A down to the edge of the Connecticut River.
Lebanon Police say at the conclusion of their investigation they tracked down 21-year-old Tevon Carter in Lebanon and that he subsequently confessed to taking the vehicle and then ditching it after it became bogged down in the mud.

Police had a tow truck recover the vehicle and charged Carter with theft by unauthorized taking, a Class B felony in New Hampshire. Carter was held for lack of $5,000 cash bail and lodged at the Grafton County House of Corrections pending his arraignment.
