Newport Man Arrested in Keene, Allegedly With Stolen Goods
Jewelry Items Valued at Over $10,000
KEENE, NH--The Keene Police were called to the Mon Amie Fine Jewelry Store (Keene Square) when store personnel grew suspicious of a subject offering items for sale and made a report to police. These jewelry items had been reported as stolen during a burglary in Claremont, NH, the day prior, said the police. Officers identified the subject allegedly in possession of these stolen items, valued at over $10,000, as 23-year-old Ethan L. Fontaine of Newport. Fontaine was taken into custody without incident. Fontaine is presently being held at the Cheshire County Jail and is scheduled to be arraigned before the Cheshire Superior Court on March 10th.
