The week was busy with five games in seven days. It started last Monday with the team losing 4-3 to Exeter.

“I think they were angry at themselves,” said Coach John Dodds when asked about the loss.

The loss appeared to have motivated the Marauders to fight through the season. The girls played their senior game against Brinity West last Wednesday, winning 14-2.

“We wanted this win,” said senior Clare Gardner after last Wednesday’s game. She said the team is like a family. “We had to prove it that we can do this, that we’re still a team we’re not going to turn on each other.”

The team’s first playoff game is scheduled at home on Friday. The opposing team has yet to be announced.
