3 Ways to Celebrate Spring is on Its Way

I don’t know about you, but these past few days of wonderful weather have just been amazing for my mood.  I want to celebrate and do a little happy dance (when no one’s looking).  Here are some ideas I thought of if you want to celebrate too (without the happy dance).

1.     Buy Flowers and Open the Windows

Okay, this is really obvious, but man does it lift the spirits so I'm adding it.  Yesterday we opened the windows and let the fresh air in.  It was wonderful and gave me hope spring will be here soon.  If our cat didn’t eat flowers, I’d get some tulips to brighten the room too and remind me that soon there will be a vibrant rainbow of flowers popping up outside too!

2.     Take a Walk and Enjoy the Sunshine

I’m going to go take a walk if the weather holds out.  It’s supposed to be in the 50s the next few days and in the 40s a few days next week.  Since we got so much snow, I’m going to walk on trails with lots of sun exposure and not in the woods.  The rail trails in Lebanon or Claremont would work, or the paved bike path in Springfield too.  My best bet though for a snow free walk would be the Centerra Park walk around the businesses or the Dartmouth Printing Loop.  I could also check out the Path of Life Garden in Windsor, which I enjoyed in the summer.  It would be pretty to walk around this time of year too.

3.     Take a Day Trip

I recently went on mini day trip to Keene and stopped by Burdick’s chocolates.  You can read about my experience here.  You could also take a trip to enjoy some locally made food and drink.  See the posts links below for more information.
