Lebanon man arrested for using heroin in convenience store bathroom
Maplefield's employees became suspicious
LEBANON, NH - A 20-year-old Lebanon man who spent a suspiciously long time in the restroom of a convenience store on Thursday has been charged with heroin possession as a result.
Dylan Conklin was arrested and charged with a felony count of possession of a controlled drug after an employee of the Maplefield's convenience store on Mechanic Street approached a police officer on patrol and explained that a man had been acting strangely around the store and "had been in the bathroom for a long time."
"When the male came out of the bathroom, the officer spoke with him about the store employee's concern," Lebanon Police recounted on Friday, "The officer's conversation with Conklin led to an investigation in which Conklin was found to be in possession of several bags of heroin and admitted to using heroin in the bathroom."
After being processed, Conklin was released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail and order to appear at the Lebanon District Court on April 10th to answer the felony charge.
