The basketball court was a battlefield last Tuesday when the Lebanon boys basketball team defeated John Stark 61-48.

“It was a war out there, we had four or five guys with blood over their jersey after the game," said Lebanon senior guard Graham Chickering in an interview after the game.

The Lebanon boys  had to get creative to defeat the taller John Stark team.

“We’re a little undersized compared to them so we just really had to battle and dig it out and just play strong out there,” said Chickering.

Lebanon senior guard Ryan Milliken was proud of his team.

“I see this team going to the championship game, just as we did last year,” he said.

Lebanon defeated Bishop Brady 63-47 last Friday. The junior varsity team plays against rival Hanover tonight at 6:30 p.m., while the varsity team plays Hanover tomorrow.
