Lebanon woman charged with wallet theft

LEBANON, NH - A Lebanon woman was arrested Wednesday after she allegedly stole a wallet from another woman's purse while at a local business, Lebanon Police reported.

    Kerry St. Lawrence, 55, was arrested after Lebanon Police Officer Tyler Hewes was dispatched to investigate the reported theft and given a description of a potential suspect.

    Hewes located St. Lawrence nearby and, after investigating, recovered the missing wallet from a backpack that St. Lawrence was carrying, police said.

St. Lawrence has been charged with receiving stolen property, a Class A misdemeanor in New Hampshire.  She was released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail and ordered to appear at the Lebanon district court on March 27th for arraignment.
