Dartmouth Will Host Multi-Sport Clinic for Girls on Sunday, January 29
Great event for families, teams, groups of scouts or friends
In celebration of National Girls & Women in Sports Day, Dartmouth Athletics is proud to host a multi-sport clinic for girls in grades K-8 on Sunday, January 29 from 9-11 a.m. in Leverone Field House. Admission is free, and instruction will be provided by Big Green student-athletes.
All participants receive free admission to the women’s basketball game on Saturday, January 28 at 6 p.m. (and a pregame pizza party hosted by female student-athletes beginning at 5 p.m.) and the women’s hockey game on Saturday, February 4 at 3 p.m. (and a postgame autograph session with the team). It was also recently announced that former Dartmouth women's basketball coach Chris Wielgus will also be honored on January 28.
In order to provide each participant with an appropriate amount of time learning about and trying a variety of sports, they have divided the sports into two groupings:
- Group A (golf, ice hockey, rugby, soccer, ultimate frisbee, volleyball)
- Group B (equestrian, field hockey, lacrosse, rowing, softball, track/cross country).
