Ski Quechee to Host Vermont Specialty Food Days Saturday, January 14, 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The Quechee Club has joined forces with Ski Vermont to host the 2017 Vermont Specialty Food Days on Saturday, January 14 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Enjoy a morning on the Quechee ski slopes before making your way to the Base Lodge for a sampling of Vermont fare, spirits and ciders! Participating specialty food producers include companies like Cabot Cheese, Vermont Maple Syrup, Northeast Kingdom Mustard, and Cold Hollow Cider. Beginning in January and continuing throughout March, Ski Vermont will be touring state-wide resorts with local food producers like Cabot Cheese, Green Mountain Coffee, and Vermont Distillery. The best part is the sampling and spirits tasting is complimentary! The Quechee Club is preparing to have all 13 Alpine trails and the Terrain Park covered with fresh powder. In the afternoon, you can do some ice skating or grab a friend for some cross-country skiing on our Nordic trails. At four o’clock, head on over to Après Ski and enjoy a cocktail while listening to Still Hill perform live. Skiers and riders can participate in a contest this year during Ski Vermont’s Specialty Food Day tour. Samplers will be encouraged to take photos of their food and beverage experiences and tag them #SnackSkiVT on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. Ski Vermont will draw four winners over the course of the tour. Winners will receive swag bags that include lift tickets and products from Burton, Anon, Rossignol, Skida, Long Trail, Vermont Spirits, and other specialty food vendors.
