Dartmouth Coach: A Real Bus Station

The Dartmouth Coach has moved and is open for business at its new location at the Transportation Center on Labombard Road in Lebanon NH. You can see it from Route 120; the entrance is just off of Heater Road near I-89s Exit 18. From Route 120, turn on to Heater Road as though you were headed for the truck stop. Then make a quick left onto Labombard. Easy to find and plenty of parking at the same rate of $3.00 per day. On this, the first weekend, the parking lot was close to full with travelers headed to Boston and New York City.

It's a real bus station! Some things, like coffee and vending machines, are the same. But the new station--still with that brand new construction smell--is spacious with ample seating, enhanced restroom facilities, and a big screen TV hanging high up in a corner broadcasting the news. There is also a live screen showing departure times for flights from Logan Airport.

Nancy LaHaye, employed at Dartmouth Coach for 15+ years, remains at the desk.

Being aficionados of bus travel to Boston and New York City, my husband and I asked if any additional routes were being considered. The answer was no, at least not at this time. We are hoping for Portland ME. Where would you like the Dartmouth Coach to take you?  (See below, Start A Discussion, to leave a comment.)
