If you haven't been to A Thyme to Cook in Claremont, NH, then you're in for a treat.

Right off the rotary on Tremont Square you'll find A Thyme to Cook.  Make a day trip of it and enjoy the spice store next door too.   You can find my in-depth post about the store here.

Enjoy Cooking Demonstrations

Today I enjoyed a cooking demonstration on an easy way to make a crust by the owner, Leslie Marston. I didn't know you could make a crust using nuts, so that was fun to learn. She had prepared a cranberry pear tart using ginger and cardamom from the spice store.  I got to taste it and it was delicious! I like the tin she used too because you could push the bottom up to display the dessert beautifully.

Quality Products

You can find great products too.  I asked about a replacement for dishrags I have at home and she recommended a cool Swedish product that's hard until it gets wet, and you can wash it in the washing machine too.  They're pretty to look at too; I'm looking forward to trying them.

So next time you need something for your kitchen, make sure to check out A Thyme to Cook.
