Stay local, shop global, and make a world of difference...
20 nonprofit organizations sell fair trade, hand-crafted items made by artisans from around the world. The "difference" with this craft fair is that 100% of the proceeds go to the nonprofit organizations and their artisans. This is a great opportunity to make a positive impact in the world...through shopping!
You can find jewelry, textiles, baskets, bags, ornaments, home decor, cards, adult and children's apparel, toys, specialty food and more. Your purchases help to improve the lives of families in some of the poorest regions of the world by supporting projects including cooperatives, orphanages, and schools, as well as environmental conservation and sustainability initiatives.
Delicious soups and baked goods will be available in the Christmas Market Café.For more information about this event, including participating organizations and types of products available, visit us on Facebook or our website:
Parking will be available on College St. in front of Dartmouth Hall, and in the Dewey Lot near the Medical School (with shuttles running to the entrance of the Maynard Lot). On Saturday only, the Maynard Lot also will be available. Please put a note on your dashboard that says "Christmas Market" if you park in the Dewey or Maynard Lots.
