AND I STILL SHOP HERE......

When price chopper opened on the plainfield road, I thought it was the best thing since instant oatmeal. The huge fake tree, the misting over the veggies, the bird recordings... It felt so tropical, or so i thought. After happily shopping here for a few months, I was looking at the blueberries, and a small bird swooped down and grabbed a berry and flew up into the rafters. I'm not afraid of birds but after years of taking care of chickens and geese that thought they could push me around by pecking and biting me, I am a little leery. I told the clerk that i had seen a bird, and he said"Oh, there's about 30 in the store. THEY LIVE HERE". Of course, now I'm wondering what they eat. Do they swoop down on the fish section like eagles? Do they peak at the bread? Do they POOP on the vegetables? Where do they get water? From the lobster tank? Needless to say I now shop at the price chopper on the miracle mile.....
