Newbury Arts is celebrating American Craft Week - today - Sunday from 10 to 5 - in conjunction with the Vermont Craft Council and Vermont North by Hand Open Studio Tours. Artists exhibiting: Jane Booth, Linda Bryan, Robert Chapla, Chris Esten, Judith Lerner, Michael Heffernan, Brad Vietje, Marie Witte, John Layton, Linda Taylor, Chris Wilson, James McGarrell, and Donna Ellery.
There is a fundraising lunch, delicious baked treats, and a chance to win a James McGarrell original piece of art, all proceeds benefit restoration work on The Old Village Church.
Join in the fun -- help build a giant puppet - watch small blocks of wood turn into tops and tiny trees. Make a day of it -- take a drive, meet the artists, enjoy the views, support the arts.
