Massachusetts pair facing felony charges
SHARON - Two Massachusetts women are facing felony charges after a search of their car on Saturday morning reportedly turned up 650 bags of heroin.

Shelby Cyr, 24, of Chicopee and Melyza Rojas, 23, of Springfield, Massachusetts were both charged with felony possession of heroin and accompanying misdemeanor counts of providing false information to law enforcement after the pair were pulled over on Interstate 89 in Sharon.

Vermont State Police Corporal Mark Harvey said he stopped the pair near Mile Marker 10 in the southbound lane and conducted a consent search of their vehicle during which he discovered the heroin in the glove compartment. The women were taken into custody and transported to the Royalton Barracks where they were processed and released with citations to answer the charges at the Windsor County criminal court in White River Junction on January 30th of next year.
