Coach Jeff Acker was pleased with his teams effort and the direction the season is taking saying "We are at the halfway point of the season and the girls are really starting to play well. They are starting to pick up some of the nuances of our system and people are feeling comfortable in their roles." Acker added "We are playing with a lot of confidence right now and when you play with confidence you create your own good fortune and it snowballs."

With the big lead Acker played his bench a lot of minutes in the second half with both teams scoring and the Canes picking up the 5-1 win.

With the win Hartford moves into a tie for third in the state division 2 standings with Mill River behind just Stratton Mountain & Milton. Next game is will be a challenge as they head to Manchester to play one of the top D1 schools in the state, Burr & Burton.

No player of the game today as I am reporting the game second hand.  Thanks to my wife Gail for some color on the game & the photo!
