Claremont man flees Bradford crash scene
Crack cocaine also charged
BRADFORD, VT - A Claremont, New Hampshire man is facing multiple charges after he allegedly fled the scene of a crash that took place in Bradford shortly after 9 p.m. Monday evening.
Jonathan Hood, 34, has been cited to answer charges of leaving the scene of an accident, grossly negligent operation of a vehicle, disorderly conduct, and possession of crack cocaine at an arraignment scheduled for November 30th at the Orange County Courthouse.
Vermont State Police Trooper Dave Powers said police responded to the report of the crash on Fairground Road in Bradford and troopers were at the scene investigating it when dispatchers received a tip that Hood had been the driver and was in an apartment just a short distance away. As a result, troopers quickly located Hood and he was arrested without incident.
