Fall Friday Night Dinner Share
October-December. Eight weeks of simple, nourishing meals in a box. A healthy alternative to Friday night takeout, this weekly specialty share features a light meal for two to four, including a quart (or two) of soup or stew, salad greens and farm-made dressing, plus a loaf of our popular brown bread (gluten-free alternative available). A share that feeds four also includes a vegetarian side dish or a savory bake (like our eggplant polenta pie) to serve with your meal or stash in the fridge for Saturday night! A gluten-free share includes a small vegetarian side, kraut, or frozen item as a substitute for brown bread. All share items are made on the farm and feature ingredients grown here or grown/raised by producers we know and trust, including local, pastured chicken, pork and grass-fed beef. Both mostly meat or all vegetarian (we may use yogurt, cream or other dairy) shares are available; check before signing up if you have food allergies, as accommodations may not be possible.
In addition to the share, we offer tips on how to finish or complement your meal, which can often include surprise additions from the kitchen. Specialty shares are an adventurous way to suggest local food production. You never know quite what you'll receive, but you know it will be delicious!
