Any Select Board member is supposed to make unbiased, intelligent decisions that properly conduct Town business, someone who is not biased one way or the other on any topic or issue. Unfortunately, I see Stephen Flanders exhibiting bias that I believe is not in the best interests of the Town of Norwich. And considering Stephen's past actions, some of which I view inappropriate, I think it is time for a big change on the Norwich Select Board. Replace Stephen Flanders with Suzanne Lupien on Tuesday. She will do the job with dignity and fairness.
Suzanne is intelligent, knows the process forward and backward, and will do an excellent job conducting our Town's business as it should be done - and not based on friendships with other Town employees. Suzanne is a focused individual who stays on topic while discussing important issues. She is open-minded and considerate and will work well with others.
Suzanne can see the Big Picture. She will share her ideas while respectfully considering the views of other Board Members as well as comments, questions and suggestions from the Townspeople. There is nothing hard-headed or fundamentalist about Suzanne; she does not get stuck on her own opinions, and she is a great communicator. This is what the Select boards needs now and going into the future. Vote for the change we need! Vote for Suzanne Lupien on Tuesday!
