It’s never too early in the week to start thinking about the weekend, and if you’re craving tasty local food, fine wine, craft beers of the area and live music, then read up! The Festival of Earthly Delights is happening this Sunday, August 23rd.
Sponsored by Dead River Company and Upper Valley Press, the 5th annual festival will kick off Sunday at 3pm in the historic Alumni Hall at 75 Court Street in Haverhill, NH. Featuring businesses from the Upper Valley and surrounding areas, the fest will offer three hours to sample culinary delights from the likes of King Arthur Flour, Pierogi Me, Ariana’s Restaurant, Red Kite Candy, Smuttynose, Traveler Beer Co. and Tilia Vineyards, to name just a few. Throughout the afternoon, Hayley Jane and the Primates will be there spouting out spirited tunes.
Buy tickets in advance and pay just $20 for food; $25 for food, beer and wine. At the door, prices will be $25 and $30. So, be proactive and save $5 by getting tickets today! Don’t forget your ID if you plan to imbibe, and kids under 12 can go for free with an adult. Admission also includes door prizes and a silent auction.
