Are you overweight or obese and tired of struggling with your weight?Do you have symptoms of depression?
· Are you feeling down, depressed, or hopeless?
· Have you lost interest in activities you used to enjoy?
The Department of Psychiatry at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center is conducting a research study to evaluate the effectiveness of two different treatments for depression and obesity in women.
Participants will attend one of two three-month treatment programs, either:
- OR -
A commercially-available group-based and online program to help with weight loss.
If you are eligible and interested in participating, you’ll be assigned to attend one of these two programs. Group sessions are held either at DHMC or other community locations, and scheduled at a time convenient for you.
