Four Days of Music at Tunbridge Fair -- and More!

 

There's plenty of local talent on display this weekend in the Upper Valley music scene, starting Thursday night with Harmony Hotel at the Feast and Field Market in Barnard and continuing with Billy Rosen & Steve Ellis at Table 19 in Springfield, the debut of The Exit 9 Blues Band at Windsor Station, an Open Mic hosted by Jim Yeager at Artistree, and Wichita Jack at Bentleys. Trans gender artist Taylor Mac performs at Spaulding Auditorium at the Hopkins Center for the Arts at Dartmouth College and The Tunbridge World's Fair begins a four-day run with Live Performers from Royalton Radio on the Main Stage.

 

 

On Friday Brooks Hubbard returns from Nashville to perform at Jesse's Restaurant, Peter Concilio brings his jazz ensemble to SILO Distillery (next to Harpoon Brewery), Hell's Hollow shakes loose with a little bluegrass at Big Fatty's BBQ, Cormac McCarthy is at Canoe Club, Erik Boedtker plays at the Inn at Weathersfield, and BarnArts presents Jesse and The Bandit at The Little Theater in Woodstock. Look for "Fresh Face from Nashville" - Elizabeth Lyons and Brandon Chase on the main Stage at the Tunbridge World's Fair. For late night entertainment - check out Bob Rutherford at Salt hill Pub - Hanover, Conniption Fits at Mt. Sunapee Salt hill Pub, John Lackard Blues Band at Salt hill Pub - Newport, Josh Gerrish at Lebanon- Salt hill Pub, Sensible Shoes at Skunk Hollow Tavern, and Talkin' Smack at Toad Hall in Franklin, NH.

 

 

Saturday - have brunch with celtic singer Jennifer Culley Curtain at the Stone Arch Bakery, an afternoon snack with Arthur James at The Seven Barrel Brewery, and dinner with Jamie Ward at Table 19 Restaurant in Springfield or Clay Canfield at Bentleys Restaurant in Woodstock. Starting at 3:30 on the Main Stage at the Tunbridge World's Fair check out Soul Creek, Two Token Joker, Black Sheep, and The Stone Bullets. At 7pm BarnArts presents Jesse and The Bandit at The Little Theater in Woodstock and at 7:30 get ready for international stars of Cuban and African music Ricardo Lemvo & Makina Loca at the Woodstock Town Hall Theater. Late night Saturday includes About Gladys at Windsor Station, Cloud Duo at Salt hill Pub - Newport, Please Don't Tell - Mt Sunapee SHP, Soul Fix at Lebanon SHP, and Sullivan, Hanscom, & Davis at Hanover SHP.

 

 

On Sunday Island Time Steel Drums performs in the gazebo at the Tunbridge World's Fair from noon until 5pm, BarnArts presents the Final Show of Jesse and The Bandit at The Little Theater in Woodstock at 5:30pm and Jonathan Kaplan plays at Canoe Club in Hanover at 7:30.
