I have the diminuitive, super portable, 2013 Macbook Air for sale. Despite its incredibly compact design, it packs in a full 8gb of ram, a 500gb SSD storage drive and a powerful 1.7ghz i7 Intel processor. Essentially, every option on the order page was checked. The current version with a very slighty faster processor lists for $1649. An Apple refurbished model of this exact computer is $1269. I am asking $949 for this pristine used one, complete with box and charger and if you wish I will give you an hour of professional setup to get you started.
The advantage of the 11.6 MacBook Air is that it has almost no bulk. Very thin, very light, about the same size as an 8.5x11 inch sheet of paper. The limitations of this smallest, least expensive MacBook are usually the limited ram and file storage, but this one was special ordered with the maximum sized SSD and ram and the highest performance i7 processor. It undergoes a transformation from a terrifically convenient step up from an iPad into a full blown primary computer. Unlike the cute new MacBook, it has 2 real USB3 ports as well as the versatile Thunderbolt port; allowing simultaneous connection to printers, external hard drives or flash drive, monitors and a slew of legacy gadgets with the right adapter.
