Assistant Superintendent John Aubin cited the quarterly financial report. He reviewed the general fund balance, food service, Federal projects, and Medicaid fund. The school year began with a $46,000 deficit and now there is a $77,730 favorable balance. The changes that have brought this current standing include reduced special education expenses and a new tuition student. A question was asked about the $16,000 increase in teacher salaries that was thought to be due to a higher salary rate than expected of a new hire.
