Temporary Housing Needed by Late-March
Young, Haitian family of four needs temporary housing with cooking facilities by late March. The host family, with whom they have been living since September, is moving out of state in early April.  A father, mother, 6 year old kindergardener, and nine month old baby girl have completed the paperwork for political asylum from Haitian violence.

A place in Lebanon that will allow the six year old to complete kindergarten at Hanover Street School is preferable, but not necessary.  Proximity to public transportation would be helpful. George Sykes, NH State Representative from Lebanon, worked with the father in Haiti for about a year following the earthquake. George made it possible for this family to come to New Hampshire.  There may be some funds available to cover a minimal cost for housing.  They would also be happy to work to offset expenses, but cannot accept financial compensation until his work permit is available in a few months.

To get further information, please contact The Rev. Dr. Carol Jeunnette at (303) 909-3064. (Her cell number is out of state, but she is local.), or Tinka McArdle, a friend of the family, at the email address posted. The Jeunnettes have provided space for the family until now. References are available.  Thank you for your help!
