The artwork this month is a collaborative installation by the faculty of the Olivarian School in Pike, NH. Photography, acrylic w/ mixed media, pen & ink pointillism, and more.
Peter O'Connor, Andy Muller and Dan "Rudi" Rudell team up in a guitar/mandolin/fiddle trio called Turnip Truck. They will warm the entire room with their fun, blue-grassy sound and happy vibes. They're the perfect antidote to your cabin fever blues.
Our dinner menu this month will feature delicious, gourmet flatbread pizzas:
- VT Fresh* pesto & chicken w/ shaved parmesan and arugula
- Sweet potato, kale & Karim Farm* manchego w/ balsamic drizzle
- Caramelized apple, onion & bacon w/ Karim Farm* cheddar
- Roasted red pepper, mushroom & scallion w/ Maplebrook Meadow* mozzarella
We will also have a beautiful baby spinach, grapefruit and toasted pecan salad with white wine vinegarette. We'd love to hear your suggestions/requests for desserts!
For beverages we serve warming espresso drinks, teas and hot cocoa, and VT-made, HFCS-free sodas. We welcome you to BYOB (anything you want) or buy a glass/bottle/case of wine from local wine-maker 3 Sisters Vineyard*, who will be on site with FREE tastings of their "Bright Red" Frontenac blend.
Bright Red pairs beautifully with rich cheeses and meat dishes. The perfectly balanced acidity is an ideal complement to rich foods, gently cleansing the palate and stimulating the appetite.
3 sisters vineyard was planted in 2002. 2010 Bright Red Frontenac is their first release to the public.
We'll start serving dinner at 6:00. Once everyone has been fed, maybe we can move tables and make some room to boogie. This is a kid-friendly event. We want to feed you and lift your spirits!
