There are those who just tolerate winter and those who can’t wait to get their gear on and head outdoors. And while I love sitting by a fire there is something magical about being outside and active with my family in the beauty of our winter.
Finding your mojo shouldn’t be too hard; there is so much to do out-of-doors here in the Upper Valley that anyone can find that thing that makes them happy. Whether it’s going for a walk and looking for animal tracks with the Keeping Track of Norwich group, introducing your child to cross country skiing at theStrafford Nordic Center’s Kids Ski Day, or, my favorite: nordic skating on the longest groomed trail in the U.S. at the Upper Valley Trails Alliance’s Lake Morey Skate-a-Thon on Sunday, January 18.
As they say, Celebrate…Don’t Hibernate!
